Monaco Manufacturing Corporation began its journey in 1958, when Mr. Chua Yap Chek founded Monaco Thread Company to produce and distribute bag-closing threads.
Since then, the company has experienced steady growth, expanding its product offerings and services to meet the needs of the textile and garment industries. Today, Monaco employs over 300 staff members across two advanced production facilities in Metro Manila, equipped with state-of-the-art twisting, rewinding, and dyeing machinery.
As part of its ongoing expansion, the company also operates a satellite office and warehouse in Cebu, catering to the Visayas and Mindanao regions. In addition to its local operations, Monaco exports its threads to various international markets.
